30 minute walk from the shop at the top of the hill. We went down on our bikes (250s with knobblies). So beautiful. Hot water. Worth a visit.

nice location. the water has 40-50C so you have to pick a colder spot. lots of hidden locations and little alcoves. if was fairly crowded on a Friday but locals stay maybe 10 min and then move on to another alcove. the road down is okay. our truck camper had no issues whatsoever, the road is used by semis to haul potatoes. lots of dinky 2x4 parked next to us
Report Check-InAs described. About the water/eyes - it does hurt but don't rub or dry it, rather have a little mineral water with you and flush the eyes, then wash fingers...
Report Check-InVery beautiful hot water river. Access is either by car or on foot crossing the páramo and the frailejones (wonderful!). The colors of the river with the sulfur are superb (yellow, green, orange). It is not easy to swim there, the river is over 50°C, we nevertheless found 3 small pools at 45°C. Access costs 15 000COP per person (same price for children over 6 years old).
Report Check-InBeautiful hot springs in a amazing natural setting. Had the place to ourselves. Parked at the top in our truck camper and walked down. Down is about 30 minutes, up about an hour. Being at 13000 ft it was slow for us. Entrance is now 15k pp. The road down was fine when we were here, two sedans were heading down as we walked up. I would confirm the road condition as it could be muddy.
