Not really sure what the hype is about. Based on the reviews here and lonely planet saying any beer lover within 100km needed to go here I had high hopes. Unfortunately I thought the beer was pretty meh, at least the IPA and Bock. I had much better in Bariloche but to each their own!

Wonderful Bavarian beer and food! Armin was very pleasant and brought us some of his favorite beers to taste. As you can imagine he has a great knowledge of beer and beer making we talked quite a bit about the hops he uses. If you like beer and have interest in brewing I'd definitely make a stop.

Bavarian food and beer :-)
Get a "frisch gezaptes" Märzen and maybe you should also try Leberkäs (we did not, no time on our way to Argentina).
A little "beer garden", not like the real Bavarian ones, but maybe one of the best in South America. The beer definitely was :-)

Great indoor/outdoor German food restaurant. Bratwurst and thin crust pizza. Worth a stop if you need something a little different and a good beer. Average prices, won't break the bank by any means. On route 215 towards Las Lumas shortly after you will see blue and white checkered flags on the right hand side. --las Lumas lote1E, Osorno #82941818
