Description

Aguadas on the top of the Cerro Monserrat you'll find an amazing place in the middle of the sky. Great view, security 24 hrs. César, the security guy is very friendly, like Fernando, the man of the information site in town. They Will help you with anything. Water, Toilets and showers and FREE! Lovely town, the road from Pintada is half grave and half pav, but we made it with a 28feets RV, so any car can drive thru. Very recommended!!! Y Gratis!

as we could not get to the place „down aguadas“ we stayed here over night. as described before: beautiful view. luckily we had an undisturbed night. toilets were not clean, the guarding attendant not very talkative. claro 4g reception.

Wooohoo this place is great! Beautiful views, a sweet lil cat, super flat camping spots, and a toilet (with toilet paper!!!). It’s really wonderful. Though we didn’t see a sign of the shower we did get a bucket of water to wash up it

Dormimos una noche acá, muy tranquilo y bonito. Es interesante visitar la Casa de la Cultura en el pueblo, para ver la colección de sombreros y parte de la historia de su gente. Lindo pueblito y hermosísimas vistas de los alrededores.

I spent one night here. The view is very nice, the road to come is bad at the beginning, better if you have a high car, I made it with a VW t2 kombi and suffered a bit.
Drunks came at 1am made lot of noise and tried to open my car. Apart from that is a nice place to stay.

Beautiful spot. It is better to visit Tourism Information in the square before you come here to get info about town. They are very friendly and helpful. You can park your vehicle in front of the Information and walk in town.

lovely spot. very friendly guy at the shop. security isn't great - overnight (2am) some drunks came up from the town, made a lot of noise outside our truck and were throwing stones around for half an hour. Otherwise... very peaceful and a very cute town to visit.

Great location, Caesar was really nice and told me all about the area and it's ups and downs over the years. Made me coffee each morning and even kept an eye on my bike when another local walked me to town.
It's free so probably buy some beers or chips from the guy.

Great views and rocky/steep roads as mentioned. Cesar right away said it was ok to camp as soon as I showed up with mi bicicleta. Highly recommend this mountain camp site. P.s. César loves playing chess!

Awesome place even without a superb view. Rain clouds and their fog did not clear up within two days.

Amazing place, 360° mountain/valley view! The road was quite tough with our bike fully load. The hardest part is before the fork (the right side, look on mapsme), if you arrive on the left side it's way better! Cesar and his family are just more than happy to welcome and help you with anything! They love talking to travelers, especially Mickael their son!
They sell few stuff in their house (beer, chips, ...). Actually there is no shower, they are using a bucket. Was good enough for us!!!
Don't miss Fernando, the guy of the information center!

Superbe endroit pour passer la nuit tres sur et tranquille avec une vue à 360 degrés

a wonderful place and view (when the clouds aren't blocking it) the road is not so bad though we do have a 4x4. Ceasar is still here and friendly as mentioned, though when we arrived he was not currently there. it was pretty busy with youths when we arrived on Saturday evening but it all quieted down around 10pm and was incredibly peaceful the whole night, no dogs barking, no cocks crowing and no traffic noise.

no way to get their with my European Fiat camper !!!!
the way to the town is beautiful
half paved half ripio
no problem
but the 400 last meters are really too tuff...
next time with a 4x4
