Small, clean, comfortable hotel right on the plaza. After three days camping in Barichara and a long and dusty -yet beautiful drive, a hot shower before heading to Cocuy felt great. WiFi available. A bit noisy at night.

Great economic little hotel in the small town of San Mateo. Rudy, the manager is most accommodating. Hot showers, clean room, wi-fi. Free secure parking lot a block down the street. Great place to break down the long drive to El Cocuy National Park from Barichara.
Report Check-InSuch a lovely, clean, and comfortable hotel for only 30k/night...so we stayed for 3! Secure parking down the block (with electricity so we were able to charge our aux battery). Super friendly owner who brought us cafe tinto every morning and afternoon. Good stop before heading toward Cocuy.
