This place is representative for all the little dead end streets around Wrightsville Beach. The rules apply to all. Parking is free from November to February all day, from April to October its free during the night (8pm to 9am). Outside these hours its $3 per hour / $17 per day. Could not find any signs prohibiting overnight camping, but just to be sure and didn't want to bother the residents, we were in stealth mode. It's more quiet in the other streets, but on Mercer Pier you have beach showers and restrooms. I would not recommend this spot to anything larger than 22ft.

I got "the knock" around 11:30pm. Opened the door to about 5 sheriff's deputies and the sheriff and about 4 police officers. A little over kill imho but they were all nice and one officer addressed me stating you couldn't sleep in your vehicle even though I haven't been able to find it in the local county or city ordinance. They let my van and a huge bus parked about 100' behind me stay the one night since it was late. I thanked them. They were nice. Parking is $3/hr!, but free after 8pm.
Report Check-InIt is not possible to stay there because of roadworks. Seems that all will change and no longer being allowed to stay there with an RV.
Report Check-InFree street parking with access to the beach. It's the slow time of the year, so it's quiet, with very little foot traffic. There are a couple of places to get some food or a drink at this very location.
