Pic-nic-site at public beach | Informal Campsite

We crossed the border late in the day and stayed here, it had fairly steady traffic driving through the area, stopping for picnics, fishing or just passing through, a few people stopped to say hi to us. The downside for tent campers (females), I guess, is that there are no washrooms and no bushes to hide behind which can be a struggle at a place so busy. Just something to keep in mind :)

We stood here for 4 nights. it's nice and a lot of playgrounds for the children. at night it is often noisy but at night we parked more far away from the beach and street than it was ok.

I would say, this is the most tidy beach since a long time with a beautiful surrounding view. It was very calm, but a few cars came along the wide sandy track, which is easy to access (no 4x4 needed). There are palms and bbq places, benches and small pavillons.
It's a huge very flat and sandy area, even nice for a few nights.

it's a good place to stay over a quiet night, after 10 hours at the border with their corona virus theater!

An extended pic-nic site along the public beatch with some shelters and tables and open beach. The locales come here, so it is not so calm but the locals say that it is safe here. Nice view. 4G reception.
Locals told us, that the iOverlander site north of the port is private land.
