Beautiful scene.... Great place to pull over after a long day of driving! The river is relaxing and the wind is not too strong. On the side of RT 40 but very quiet. We had dinner outside by the river. Very lonely but perfect for us.

Perfect right next to route 40. Take the exit to route 29 and there directly you have a large piece of fairly flat ground right at the water (Rio Chico). We were heading south and saw two camper vans already standing there and as it was getting dark already decided to stop here as well. Seems regularly used but really perfect.

It is a very nice place, but once it was dark, so many huge mosquitoes entered the van, we don’t even know how ! As they were very agressive, we left the place at 11pm...

Report Check-InGreat stop in the middle of nowhere. Quiet, flat next to a river with plenty of room. We didn't have any wind, but if we did there wouldn't be any protection against it.

We looked at staying here for the night but there is no cover at all. It is pretty but very windy and right next to route 40. We instead stayed at the other camp listed that is 400-500m down the road. This one was much better.

Report Check-InGreat spot just a short pull off down from the road, nice location next to river and some bushes. No trees for shelter but wind not too bad earlier, sat out for dinner. Bit windier in van overnight. Good place to rest up next to water on the route 40 drive.
