Solid place to stay. We got charged 900 pesos for a van with no hookup (same price with hookup); got there late but price includes use of the pool etc. if you would like. Decent bathroom and shower (bring own TP). Restaurant very good. Some friendly dogs and a cat wandering around. Lights on in parking lot at night.

Stayed here one night for 700 pesos with no hook ups. Quiet and safe. Ate at restaurant which was ok. 1 bathroom with hot shower

Report Check-InThere's 4 back in sites for rv's and a couple more smaller spaces. There's a flush toilet and hot shower. There's power at site 1/2/3/4 but didn't use it as it was 137 volts. There's also water at sites 1/2/3. We had to pay 630 pesos, and includes access to the pool. This place is quiet, ie no roosters or barking dogs. The hiking trails to the south of the resort are fairly extensive, albeit rugged.
Report Check-InStayed here many years ago when driving through and decided to stay again. This a hotel/community living but they will allow you to camp by the office. It is a parking lot. Gated, friendly dogs. We did not need to this time but last time we stayed we had access to a bathroom and shower right next to the RV spot and I believe we were able to use the pool. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a restaurant on site - we ate there many years ago and liked it. We heard there’s a great hike you can do from the area that we plan to do next time. This trip we wanted to check out the marina. We ended up getting drinks/dinner on the patio at the marina. Live music, also good food and upscale market at the marina. We like staying here - it’s an easy on/off the road. Rates are posted depending on needs. Expect around $30
Report Check-InChecked in after a week on the beach at Agua Verde. Had arranged to camp at Puerto Escondido a week before, but went in to pay and receptionist said not possible.
Hotel Tripui helped us out no problem. Restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Be sure to let them know if you like your food a la regional with spicing or it will be less spicey.
Exceeded our expectations fully.
Campsite is closed, but arrangements can be made to stay in the secure parking...
Report Check-InBe careful with this place.
We asked if the camp sites had full service, we was told yes.
only to discover they had no dump facility at individual sites - we specifically asked for this.
Asked for our money back, no problems.
Only the problem are 3 days later, we still haven't gotten any money.
At the place now to see why not, will update if we get our money back.
With a fight we finally got our money back, just for this would not recommend this place.
Hotel is $1350p which includes breakfast . They said they do not offer camping at this time
Report Check-InLovely spot underneath a huge tree on a grassed area with the tent. There's still decent shade now and its 2pm. Cool in the evening. Lovely pool, wifi good, clean, security all night, all as described above. Rest is good for breaky, but pretty pricy otherwise. Bring dinner there's no shops here. Can get filtered water from restaurant too, free. 170ps myself and moto.
Report Check-In$10/ night per person and worth it! Had a head cold and needed a break from the beach and a bit of pampering. Grassy lawn next to our van complete with shade tree perfect for the tent. There is even an electric outlet in the tree. Clean bathroom with very hot water. Delightful pool and patio areas. Wifi somewhat reliable. Food at restaurant ok once we figured out what to order. (Grilled fish, veggie fajitas) Staff is wonderfully kind. They will do your laundry for not much more than it costs to do it yourself in town. They brought me medicine and saved me a trip into Loreto when I was sick. The waiter brought meals down to the tent on a big tray. Nice walk down to the marina from here. The perfect oasis if you need a break from roughing it. Our Dog was welcome although the rules say no pets. They must decide on a case by case basis. Everyone was just super nice. This will be a regular stop from now on.
Report Check-InNot really a campsite, but we could park our van next to the pool. Relatively expensive, mex 410, but a very nice location to relax away from the beach. Clean hot shower and toilet, beautiful pool area. Restaurant on site is not that bad.
Report Check-InA short distance to the marina in Puerto Escondido. After talking with the marina office they said we could camp in the secure marina but not with a tent. We could have camped at the point in the dirt where the locals fish at night (the site of the other POI in iOverlander for free but my wife got spooked because the official joked about locals partying with ghosts there. Haha, she was joking obviously. So we they recommended we go back up the marina kilometer to the hotel. The hotel staff let us touch out tent for $10 per person. Very friendly, secure parking, green grass, hot shower. We spelt well :) wifi reaches the tent and they allowed us to cook next to our tent too. There is a restaurant onsite but it was pricey. The security guard had a dog (Carmella) and 2 cats that follow him around.
