Good chill spot. Stopped here because the road gets a bit bumpy the further you go. No issues! Travel trailers with decent clearance shouldn't have a problem. Two bars of Verizon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Gate closed end of story end of spots. Tough area in general. Even further north access to little bits of blm land not accessible because route lands out up fences to prohibit accesss
Report Check-InApparently the road is washed out - locked gate across road (see photo) - might be re-opened at some point??
Report Check-Ingate "closed for emergency" - cannot get in. A law enforcement pickup followed me down, then turned and left when I discovered the locked gate.
Report Check-Innot much of a spot unless you like camping under a bridge with a bunch of rowdy locals with their atvs and trucks.
the whole road is rutted and we couldn't get even near the water. we were here in our 24 ft rv. the whole thing is just a little sad. I'd avoid this spot.
Report Check-InBig open flats along the river. The road is not maintained and it's bumpy but we pulled our 25' trailer around no problem (slowly). We were there on a Friday night so there was some partying but not late. A few fishermen around and some ATVs. No issues. 2 bars of Verizon.
Report Check-InYou can get closer to the river. Really nice spot but very busy on the weekend. If you don’t mind quads, dirt bikes and fishermen you good. Everyone super friendly
