Description

*Overnight parking/camping is NOT available at this location.
.....
Large dirt parking lot down a dirt road, very popular destination for fisherman in the morning. We were not bothered at all. No signs forbidding sleeping overnight.

Trash cans, port-a-pottie, good place for dogs to run around! Amazing stars at night.

Enjoy and please pick up after yourself and others!!

Slept here for a night and spent the day working from our van. Starlink worked great here.

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

A Fish and Wildlife Officer came around 8pm to tell us that we cannot stay overnight. This is a federal property and camping is not accepted. Mark this place as closed for overnight parking.

Report Check-In

Quite and nice. Some bugs flying around in January. Maybe they are gnats, not sure.

Report Check-In

Lugar limpo e tranquilo, uma rampa p pescadores, mas com um estacionamento amplo, sem energia e nem água potável, tivemos uma noite tranquila

Report Check-In

Perfect, beautiful spot. Friendly local fisherman. Gnats weren’t that bad (maybe at this time of year), only a couple made their way into our class C motor home at sunset so we had to shut the windows. Friendly Raccoon wondered around right before sunset.

Report Check-In

Large parking area for boat ramp. Dirt road in is a few miles long but in good shape. Parking could be sloppy if raining due to mud and wet grass. Great dark skies for stargazing. Watch our for annoying gnats invading your rig if you have any doors or windows open even with screens. Super quiet spot to spend a restful night.

Report Check-In

Very large, open space. Quiet, eerie. All the stars. No issues at all.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot. Pure dark and quiet all night. Decent portapotty. Trash cans were locked. One other camper and three trucks that belonged to people out on boats.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet place at the end of a long dirt road. Do not! I repeat DO NOT used your screens or have you fan set to blow in your vehicle. The bugs come right through.

Report Check-In

Great place. Plenty of room including all flat grassy area.. ok to park on because boat trailers /trucks line up there. Best place is back in to the waterfront grass farthest from ramp. Portapotty disgusting. Bear proof garbage bins.

Report Check-In

Great place .lots of room grassy flat. Ok to park on it . Boat trailers /trucks park in morning there. Best place to back in on grass along waters edge , farthest fr ramp
Porta potty disgusting. Bear proof garbage bins. Nice ramp and small dock

Report Check-In

This place was fantastic. Beautiful and secluded, no many people but the few we encountered we either launching their airboats or bass boats and were super friendly. We parked our 38' school bus conversion there for a night with no problems. If it hadn't been the first night of a long road trip, we probably would've stayed another night or two.

Report Check-In

This was our favorite place we’ve parked at so far on our entire trip. It was so beautiful, a really special spot. No one else was around. Amazing sunset.

Report Check-In

This place is awesome. I will certainly comeback & use this as a base in the future. I can't say enough. Just magical.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to spend the night. Very big and quiet.

Report Check-In

As shown in pictures. Bear proof trash cans, clean porta-john and no other amenities. Anglers park trucks and trailers close by the ramp obviously but the informal parking is as large as a football field. Overnight the place is quiet and serene with a street light at the ramp. No see ‘ums are fierce during the day even in cold weather. Verizon is weak but our van booster gave us just enough to go online.

This is so worth driving to the middle of nowhere. It is so beautiful and secluded, besides the fishermen. Try the BBQ at the gas station just outside it. We had a restful night and woke up to beautiful scenery. There weren’t any signs saying we couldn’t park overnight but one of the fishermen came by our van while we were sitting in the front cab and told us if someone asks to say we’re waiting on someone to go fishing - so little note. Fun fact: he said that fish mainly for trout and red fish; mullet at night.

Report Check-In

Nice, Quiet, oak shaded camp. Well maintained gravel road to get in. Picnic tables, trash cans, clean porta- johns, boat access ramp. Free for up to 10 days. Bugs aren’t too bad but it is Florida so bring bug spray. Verizon cell service 2 bars LTE

Report Check-In

Beautiful and peaceful. Stayed one night, also did not pay as we didn't use the boat ramp or any of the facilities. Bugs were horrible

Report Check-In

Quiet, pleasant spot to spend the night. Lots of biting gnats though, so bring bug spray.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for one night, just as described by the others. There were 2 other overnight vans there as well. We enjoyed this spot very much.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay overnight, calm and quiet, not too many people with boats, even on a weekend.
You pay $5 for using the boat ramp, there was nothing written about camping so we didn’t pay the fee.
