Great host, Audrey was super helpful. If you have a heavier rig, make sure to look for the gravel pads as the soil is soft in some places. Highly recommend getting here before sunset.
The city of Sebrings is about 35ish minutes from here.

Loved this site! Got my permit online and ended up extending a night. The Volunteers Bob and Margit are extremely friendly and the facilities are primitive but good. Very picturesque!

Nice free camping with compost toilets, water, trash, cold shower. Sites have room between them. Quiet, relaxing place with lots of bird noise. Get free permit online

boondocking only, no hookups. must make free reservation to get the combination to the gate. very peaceful.

Just a few additional notes to add. The bugs are pretty bad. Noseeums in the late afternoon, and mosquitoes after dusk. We have a dog, and there are prickers in every direction off the grass(ish) fields. So if your dog likes to explore, you will be picking hundreds of burrs off. Spots are pretty big. Not sure the water is potable, but cold showers available. Water smells very metallic, which might be ok. but we did not drink it. AT&T service is pretty limited. Better at the beginning of the property. Road is pretty washboard when we came, so take your time if your rig is heavy. Overall nice spot, and the trees around are beautiful.

This is a great spot. Camp hosts were great. It gets booked up but people frequently don’t turn up as it’s free. Place was pretty empty and peaceful. There is plenty of potable water, tap behind barn too. Only slight downside was done hunters had left some remains just inside the treelike e which smelled a bit. No probs because we just moved. A few insects about, but hey, it’s the countryside. You need to get a free permit before you go. You will not get through the road gate and it’s three miles to the campsite.

Place is really nice and Camp host (Bob) was a great guy. Registered for a permit and got it right away. We stayed in a minivan for two days and nights.
