Super nice campsite, 4 refugios that are first come first serve.
Bathrooms don't have soap or toilet paper, but showers are nice big and hot.

Beautiful campground. Saw 2 deer. Carlos is a great host. You can drive onto the grass and there is a water spigot that you can pull up to to fill your RV with. We launched our packrafts from the campground deck and paddled to the first deck upriver, then carried the packrafts up to the top of the little rapids at the third deck. From there, we paddled out into the big lake and then back down the river through the little rapids. We also walked to the Mirador. It was a great day.

Definitely five stars for this camping. Very quiet, peaceful and a lot of space. Showers are hot, the host is friendly, the view over the lake is also stunning. Best camping so far (2 months of traveling)

Report Check-In

Stunning campsite and very friendly owner. You don't have to pay park entry if you are only coming to the campsite but you do if you are doing any trekking. the walk along to see Cochrane lake is stunning. If you pay to enter the park here and stay at the campsite you don't have to repay to enter further north. You do need to get the ranger to sign and stamp your park entry on the day you leave the campsite and then you must enter the park further north on the same day.

Love this! Spacious camping (only 9 spread out sites), plenty of scattered trees and generally natural but well kept. Can't understand why we are the only ones here! Fabulous view over lake, on campsite 9 for best view - perfect peace! Shelters at some sites (big enough for tent) with tables. Great hot showers, clean, friendly host. 7000 each, well worth it. (park entry paid separately 11,000 at cabin 500 m before camping)

Report Check-In

Great campsite, not quite sure why entry to the National park is free if you camp here as it appears that the campsite fees are less of the fees to enter the park!

Showers are good views are lovely and theres a really nice walk direct from the campsite

Report Check-In

Really lovely people managing the camping site. You can let yourself in from the gate anytime. Charging station behind the bathrooms. If the weather is nice highly recommended to take the kayak to a deck then hike to the viewing point. It takes about 3-4 hours

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot in national park nestled in the side of the mountain facing the huge lake and very friendly host. Tranquil. Nice facilities with hot showers. Highly recommend

Report Check-In

Beautiful area, quiet campsite. Rather steep price increase: 6000 pp now, may be because there are two power outlets at the back of the shower building ...
Stars are amazing at night!

We stayed there 2 nights with the van. Very friendly staff. Can be recommended! VERY nice place, quiet. Clean facilities. Shower and water had some issues when we were there (you needed to open the valve on one side of the campsite in order to make shower work, but it is probably fixed by now ;-).

Report Check-In

Great grassy spot by the river. Only open until 5.30 but we called the number on the hut next to the closed barrier and a lovely man came to let us in. Another car came in after us. We were allowed to park the camper van on the grass.

Report Check-In

Nowadays it is allowed to camp with your rig/vehicle on the campground. 6.000 pesos for 2 persons (and car). 4.000 p.p if you want to use a sitio. 5.000 entry (without Conaf pass).
Best hot shower we've had the entire trip! But there is only 1 for women, and 1 for men (same with the toilets, but luckily separate from the showers), so if it's busy, this will be a problem. Nice park, camping and hikes.

Report Check-In

Beautiful reserve and excellent campsite. $4.000 pp + entrance to reserve.

Report Check-In

Opens mid-november. Conaf staff said we can camp the car on the parking lot for free, since there are no amenities off-season.

Report Check-In

Beautiful grassy terrain surrounded by trees and bushes next to lake. Well maintained and clean. Cars are not allowed on the lawn, but have to stay on the parking next to the field. No problem if there are one or two cars, otherwise it might be tight and hard to find a flat spot. The field has different small houses with possibility to make a fire. Walking tracks start at the campsite. Very quiet. CLP 6000 (2 adults, camper)
