just been told by the police that this pass has been closed since the pandemic started

open from november until april. From 9 to 17. Even a nurse just in case... pass is at 4000m!

The pass was closed when we came up the argentine side and it looked like the season is over. Before you go on this long and beautiful ride better check for winter closure period.

Migration and customs for Chile and Argentina. Open from 08:00 - 17:00
At the time that we passed, they checked the whole car for fresh food. Also the car of our friends.

at paso san francisco they told us that this pass will be open from oct 20th, don't know if this is correct
