flat site next to the Dexter Creek. Only a few minutes drive from Ouray, we spent a couple of days in Ouray, and drove out here in the evening. The river is loud but it's a sound I could listen to all day.

right on edge of creek. great one night stop. when I was here, minimal traffic and one other boondocking. is a pull out right next to the road so you'll have to be comfortable with that. didn't go pass the bridge though saw a few do it, with rain expected was worried about getting stuck on the way down. probably would have be fine but didn't want to chance it.

A perfect place for the night very close to the city. At some places still some snow on the road but no problem to drive. Not one car passed buy as we where there so it was very quiet - only the lovely sound of the river. Recommended.

Nice forest service road to multiple camp sites along dexter creek. We found a nice one on the left down a steep road, overlooking dexter creek.

Nice spot for the night. We were lucky there were lots of other campers all over the place.

we camped here for 2 nights during the ice climbing season, which meant we couldnt drive all the way up the road as it would've been too icy in the morning, but there was a wide road on the right which we safely parked in at night and then ice climbed at the park during the day.
the ladies at the information centre in town are also very helpful and lovely!

good place near the bridge
lot of cars all day
an another spot 350m after the bridge

Great spot! We parked next to the bridge. There a some people passing by but a real nice quiet spot!
