Mexico
Directly at the intersection with the cuota and right next to the Grand Mayan entrance. Electric, wi-fi, internet. 450 pesos per night.
NOTE: only open for the snow-bird season Oct-Apr. Closed rest of year.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Big rv parc for French and Canadian snowbirds.
Very dusty/stinky/noisy place.
Work on progress every where!
Only 2 or 3 sites for rv
The dump tank is wild open where they let you park. We had to move before the night because it was un breathable!
The only good thing was the pool for my daughter.
We payed 220 instead of 450 pesos because we arrives at pm and left at 8am.
This is a large RV park with good security and hundreds of French Canadian retirees. No Wifi. No beach. Personally we preferred the one by the beach on the Northside at Pie de la Cuesta.
Report Check-InUn des moins bon endroit.
c'est tenus par des criss de boomer québécois avec des faces de 🐷.
ça pu et il te vendent ça 450 pesos .
Des esti de crosseur.
Not really a good place for the price.
only if you're stocks.
because, you know. Acapulco is not a real good place in Mexico. There's so many other nice place.
We paid 410 pesos for a camping spot. Convenient if you go from Mexico City to Oaxaca coast or opposite. The administration didn’t want to speak English. Only Spanish or French. They were very helpful with electricity as they even changed the Canadian socket in a local one, so we could use our adapter like we always do. We used one of the pools but didn’t feel very welcome. There was some smell from a nearby water purification station. We were still happy with the place as we preferred not to drive to the other side of the city. In the long term short camping here might disappear as they are building more hangars for permanent snowbirders. Toilet and shower available at the pools.
Report Check-InThe location on this place if you’re headed south is pretty hard to beat plus some serious security. However I wouldn’t stay here unless you have to and are willing to be over charged. I’m paying 470 pesos per night. No WiFi just power and water. I’m the only person camped here that isn’t a full time snowbirder with a built in camper set up... it’s also really difficult to find so be prepared for going down the wrong streets a couple times.
Report Check-InWe (eventually) found this place with no signs. Closed. Security guard told us it's only open from October to April for the snow-bird season.
Report Check-InWe arrived around 10pm because our last campsite was closed - and the administration was closed here too so we were unable to stay at the campsite itself. The security guard was amazing though and let us into the gate to sleep in our truck by the restaurant and use the washrooms there at no charge. We felt totally safe and the security guard was lovely.
Report Check-In250 pesos without electricity, didn’t negotiate as it was late - safe, slightly loud due to a bar in the distance but in general very fine. We didn’t have any mosquitoes.
Report Check-Init is a place of permanent campers, safe, but loud. Behind a hotel and there are 4 cooler for aircondition! Okay for a night, but with 340 Pesos too expensive
Report Check-InTold the guy at the security gate we wanted to get a spot for the night. He took our names and radioed ahead and some guy meet us. At first he said 300 pesos then we said we aren't an RV and he immediately dropped to 150 pesos. Using their free wifi to post this right now. Showers pools and felt very safe even with the sound of gun fire all night in the distance. Lots of French Canadians also very nice.
Report Check-InSuper nice and huge RV camp with 250 spots, 3 swimming pool, nice garden and hundreds of retired Canadians. Actually it feels like an RV city. As we were in a small westafalia van and did not need to connect our van to electricity or city water, we negotiated the price down to 250 pesos for one night for 2 people. The night we went there there was no wind as the structure protecting the RV are huge and prevent the air from flowing, and a lot of mosquitoes, so I had hard time sleeping. So the next night we slept in front of Playa Bonfil in our van which was more windy and cool and with less mosquitos (we added this spot to iOverlander)
Report Check-InDirectly at the intersection with the cuota and right next to the Grand Mayan entrance. Mostly French Canadian snow birds, but a good place if driving from the south. Electric, wi-fi, internet. 320 per night.
