Very nice restaurant with beautiful garden and rooftop terrace with nice view. European food with a touch of Malawi for reasonable prices.

no longer Kaya Papaya - now a local malawian restaurant. Perhaps the owners moved on
Report Check-Inreally good dutch owned restaurant with lots of dutch food. it's a popular place at times so be prepared for some waiting time. the food is delicious though (ate a chicken pie) so it's well worth the wait!
Report Check-InAmazing food, had the chicken burger and it was to die for. Very friendly owners and relaxed vibe
Report Check-InYummie! As dutchies you have to go here for their 'bitterballs' and Apple pie!
And you've never tasted a chicken burger as theirs! The best ever!
Delicious food! We stayed for quite a while at this place and are well spoiled.
Report Check-InFantastic food and great vibe! 8 months into my bicycle travel through East and South Africa I stumbled upon this newly opened place ... Delicious! Everything is homemade; from the buns of the hamburger to the mayonaise sauce. ... Do try the bitterballen! Freshly made Dutch snack, its a hit amongst the visitors. Sandwiches with smoked fish/chicken and poached eggs - also smoked fresh offcorse, delicious baba ganoush, home made liquors ( after eight shot ... ) What can I say... The new Dutch owners are passionate about food and good quality ingredients and it shows in the overall experience at this place. Good prices aswell. Fantastic vibe. I planned on staying in Nkhata bay for a day, ended up staying a week - trying out their menu :-)
