Termas de Nangulvi | Informal Campsite

A nice set of termas. Pools are well maintained and bathrooms were all clean and fairly new. Pools are open until 9pm and did get quite busy in the early evening. Camping is on the flat grass between pools and river.
Cost is $8pp which includes camping and pools so no increase since 2019.

Nice pools, not crowded even for a sunday. No more high restrictions at the entrance, but no more free place to camp. It's now 5$pp for the camping, which is too much for what it is I think. Dirty wcs without paper and muddy area when it rained.

Very nice place to camp. We got very close to the river and there are two or three choices. When you enter, driver right around the back and along the river to choose your place. We paid $5 each for camping and $3 to enter the hot pools. Very clean. The restaurant was open while we were here so we ate good trout and there was just one other couple - so very quiet for a Friday. Extremely friendly. We tried the camp and cabins next door but at $8 pp camping with no access to the pools we gave it a miss. Lovely place though.

Lovely pools of various temps. Great for kids. Parked next to rushing river. Few bugs. Fleas on wandering dogs. Cabins for rent. $5.00 to park overnight. $3.00 for hot tubs. $3.50 for breakfast. Filled water tank from tap at restaurant. Bathrooms in restaurant open all night. Great spot to relax. Road here is fully paved, twisty and steep. But passable and beautiful.

We did not fit with our 3.70m high Truck but could camp behind on a big grassy area. 3 USD for the night. Another camper could park inside the areal and had to pay 5 USD. The piscina entry (3USD) is extra p.p. Nice restaurant. And: the road from Cotacachi to Nangulvi was -mostly- excellent and the landscape wonderful!

The road is very dificult. Very strech and lot of curvs... all down!!!
The termal complex is good and the camping is excelent.
The wifi is ok only in the parking.
Price. 3usd/pp and 5usd/RV.

Termas with 4 hot piscine. Cost US$3,00. It is possible camp outside the termas, free with tiolets. Hot showers inside the termas.
