Description

A small, gravel parking lot with a slight slope on the main street in Todos Santos. Quite central but quiet in the evenings (the entire town closes early) apart from the occasional dog. Tight entrance for larger vehicles, the entire town has narrow streets and very steep inclines and declines to get over the pass to get here. Fee for parking 25 quetzals for night time, 25 for day time parking. Behind a gate but not locked, however feels very safe in town.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here for one night, 20Q for overnight stay. Basic grass / gravel lot as described, but in the centre of town so it’s perfect for exploring.

Very friendly family. The kids came out and spent the evening with us, climbing up and down into our tent!

Basic pit toilet available, no showers, but water for dishes etc (just need to ask).

There was also a little comedor across the street that let me use their toilet.

Parked here for a few hrs for Q15 to see the town. Decided not to stay, very uneven ground, hard to level-up.

Interesting little town. Not much going on aside from expierencing total Guatemalan culture. The locals are so curious about you, we had so many people come up to us and chat. Very nice felt totally safe. A gorgeous drive up to the village and so interesting. We didn't find this parking lot but when we pulled into town we asked and we parked in a driveway (next to pharmacy and cellphone store) had a bathroom we could use all through the night for 40q total.

Karaoke in the backyard whole night long on a Sunday evening. There was a big fiesta that day, so I don't know if it was only that particular day. We ended up with earplugs. But the drive through the mountains was stunning and the village is worth a visit. People are really friendly and welcoming. Made it with a 24ft / 7,30m rig through the gate.

This is probably some of the must basic an rustic spots we've camped at but we don't mean that in a negative way. It was a real treat! The owners of the parking lot are incredibly friendly and were very excited to know that more travelers could stop by to camp in their property. They stated that they will add a restroom soon, a sign on the gate and electricity down the road. This is a very unique town, culturally stunning and close to nice hikes. The place is a gated but unlocked. The parking lot is in the middle of the town. It has a grassy area to camp and a few farm animals are around. Chickens, turkeys and a very cute pig leashed to its stall. If you're in for a rich rural Guatemalan experience you'll enjoy Todos Santos Cuchumatan as much as we did. Big rigs may have problems driving through the town's narrow streets.

Parking behind a gate on a property with nice grass. Surrounded by little houses and a cute pig on a leash that keeps you company. Very central. Not very suitable for too big rigs since the turn from the road into the gate might be a little difficult. (we are 6 meters/20 ft but fine)
