KM 107 site | Wild Camping

Not suitable for heavier vehicles. Very soft sand. Had to dig our truck out when we got to the beach. Beautiful spot! Clear water. Ton of shells.

beautiful and quiet site with, as has been said, lots of firewood and amazing shells. needed 4x4 to drive in through heavy sand/mud/grit. no shelter from the wind.

Absolutely gorgeous, the wash was a bit rough and tough to find a thru path to the beach but our old 4runner made it just fine. Abundance of firewood and pretty shells, so many shells we would grab some just to drop them for prettier ones 30 seconds later. Coyotes calling provided a nice backdrop to the crashing waves. Great camping for those who prefer to be secluded, major props to proscllc for the find and share

We tried to find this road but no luck. There isn’t really an obvious road to follow once you pull off at 107, so we ended up turning around. We would’ve kept going but we saw coyotes (we have dogs) and the road was super rough. You definitely need high clearance and 4x4 to drive it. There are plenty of spots here, not on the water though, if you’re in a crunch and need a spot for the night.

Free. 4wd and high clearance recommended. Follow the wash a couple of miles to the beach. Secluded and quiet. A lot of firewood. A gorgeous and lonely spot. Turn east at KM 107.
