We crossed the border from Malaysia to Brunei. Took 5 minutes: VES scanned, passports stamped. Nobody asked about the car. After we told we were on our way to Sabah we got only 30 days in Brunei, not 90.

Crossing from Brunei to Malaysia. Brunei was immigration and VES scanning was smooth. Into Malaysia we had to fill in a health declaration because of the corona virus and our temperature was measured.
