We crossed from Brunei to Malaysia. Took 10 minutes: VES scanned, passports stamped, CdP stamped. We still had the ICP. Nobody asked about the car.

Border crossing from Malaysia to Brunei. Malaysian side was smooth, we got our CdP exit stamp in 5 minutes. Brunei took 30 minutes. Immigration and VES scanning went smoothly. Customs wanted to see our IDP and insurance. They asked about alcohol and tobacco. We had some beer (below the allowed limit for import in Brunei), but learned that the allowance is zero for transit. As we had already told them we were heading for Limbang (Malaysia) the beer was confiscated; we got an official document of that.
