Something not right?

Description

Good size camping spots in trees along the lake with picnic tables and fire pit. Bathrooms and hot showers. 4500 per person. Good fishing. It's busy season now and we still managed a lakefront spot, however on the weekend there was some loud music from some campsites until late. Weekdays, it was really quiet.

We went to the far end - much quieter

Toilets were just about okay. However, like so many places around here there’s no hot water at night. Fortunately one of the cleaning ladies saw us heading towards the showers with our towels and kindly turned the water on just for us.

We actually really like this campground and have been here twice now. It’s so much quieter and nicer than the one before it in the peninsula. The bathrooms are nothing to write home about, but the showers were hot/warm and it’s quiet. 10.000 pp

Beautiful location overlooking the lake however not worth the money spent. 6000p per person. Showers cold and dirty - came out feeling dirtier than when I went in. Toilets also dirty. The whole campsite is run down and tired. As mentioned previously, not enough facilities for the 50+ camping spots (thankfully we were the only ones staying so it did not affect us). Would save the money and wildcamp instead.

In March we were alone, big spot, next to the lake. Indeed there are still only two showers for women, and two for men, if it's full, it's way not enough. Electricity at each spot. We negotiate at 4000 ppn.

Good camping site, the location and sites and atmosphere are great. Lake front, tables, benches, electricity at sites, fire pits. However, bano/shower facilities seem wholly inadequate for the size of the site. Only 2 banos per gender for the whole site, which is quiet large, (and one of the ladies not working when we were there due to blockage). In general the banos block is pretty run down and not well maintained. Paid 6500 pppn with small campervan. Would have stayed longer if facilities better. On the up side, some good fishing straight off the shore.
