Edwin the great mechanic fixed our brakes and the air conditioning very fast. The campsite had to close because of Covid, he has his workshop now at his home (about an hour from El Tunco). Contact him on Whatsapp (+50377512852) and he offers free transport service.

Edwin is an AMAZING mechanic and really great guy. He’s now located about an hour from El Tunco but he’ll do pickup and drop off from hotels. We elected to stay with him (free). His family invited us over to eat and we’re SUPER welcoming. He showed us local swimming holes and places to eat, but best of all he finished our long list of repairs quickly and for $80. He helped with an out taillight, broken blinkers, a broken windshield wiper, and a welding job to repair a door latch. Planning to return so he can fix some dents and give us a paint job.

Ay La Fábrica campground you will find the care taker Edwin and his lovely family. Edwin and a friend are mechanics and they diagnosed our spark plug problem, bought us new ones in San Salvador, and changed them for us (right at the campsite). He helped a friend with breaks, oil changes, and general maintenance as well. Because he is a mechanic and does a lot of work he is able to get high quality products at reduced prices. It’s hard to find the entrance because there is no sign but look for a yellow gate on the left before a sign for Rocka Sunzal and Blu Resort. +503-77512852 is his number if you want to reach out but we highly highly recommend his services!
