Beautiful place, well maintained, clean and green. Electricity on sites, hot showers, clean toilets. Restaurant open at night, loud music until around 9 pm, then they turn it down until the last guests are gone, then it is turned off. Large Pool. Dump Station available. Woww what a camping. Clean toilets and showers. Nice restaurant. Full hook up if needed. Perfect to stay.

Report Check-In

Just loved the little harbour basin - want one like that when I grow up.... it's a beautiful spot, peaceful and quiet, had plenty of carnitas delivered, got our laundry done and met up with fellow overlander friends. Can definitely recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Finally a first class camping in Mexico. Grounded electricity outlet with no big jump!!! Wow!!
Sewers that comply with environmental issues.
Fresh water with no sand deposit!
Beautiful landscape.
Restaurant, swimming pool and bar on site.
Might be a joyfull atmosphere on week-end, why not??
Some might say pricy but you really get wonderful place for your money. 350,450 and 550 pesos depending of the size of your rig. We pay 300 dry camping for a tight, muddy parking lot in Merida.

Report Check-In

A very nice and well-kept area right on the water. Every parking space has a power connection and good Wifi. And there is a gray water disposal point.
The owners are very nice. We had a problem with our car with which they helped us immediately.
There is also a beach club (with a restaurant) on the site, which runs loud music all day and evening. Since it rained for 3 days during our visit, there were not many guests and the music was turned down quite early.
The toilet and shower are shared with the Beach Club, but are very clean and the showers are hot and have great water pressure!
We paid 350p/night.

Report Check-In

The place is nicely framed with palm trees right by the sea. Water is not drinkable and smells of sulfur. There is a dumping station, a bit difficult depending on the RV. Unfortunately it has a lot of ants and other stinging animals. The pricing is a bit unclear, small cars 350P, medium 450P, large 550P. Electricity on site. Pool is nice, warm showers. 4kg laundry service 85P (in the town 12P per kg). Unfortunately there is loud house music from 1 p.m. except Mondays and Tuesdays. You can get good packages sending here. Contact with the resort is not possible, no email, no response on WhatsApp.

Report Check-In

As described. Very nice site right next to the water. As mentioned their restaurant has usually loud music playing during the day and there can be extra noise/music if they have an event. Didn't bother us too much during the day and they stopped the music at a reasonable time.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place! But extremely disappointed in restaurant service
Email to them.. however their email doesn’t exist..
You have a beautiful place!
I ordered a bottle of Cabernet red wine tonight they served me a sangre sweet wine. I took one sip and told them it was not acceptable, i couldn’t drink a sweet wine and it was not what I ordered.. I chose another bottle (very similar to a Cabernet)
They told me I had to pay for both bottles, they made the mistake not me.
We were about to order 2 porterhouse steaks and appetizers because we had a 12 hour day of driving with no food.
We paid for the bottle we did not drink and left and ate our own food.
Wasn’t about to spend that much money at a place with this type of services..

Not happy at all, that is horrible service

Report Check-In

Very friendly owners. They organized us water and coconuts. Big grassy field. We could let our dog off leash. Despite strong wind we had a lot of insects at/in the van. Wifi and good reception.

Report Check-In

Difficult to know what to add. If the east wind died down you can get into the water for a swim as there are steps in the sea wall but the pool is, like everything else, quite beautiful. Well worth a stay to regroup before or after entering Belize. Or even if you are just passing through! The cabins from the outside look lovely if you have guests meeting you.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite, well maintained, on-site laundry service. very friendly staff. Music at bar and restaurant stops around 9 pm. 350 pesos/night is a decent price for a clean, spacious campsite.

Report Check-In

Good spot as described but bit expensive
350/450/550 dépend of the size of the rv.
Be careful, a lot of insects on the palm trees that wake up at night, we were invaded.

Report Check-In

A little conflicted about this place. The location is beautiful, the grounds are nice, it's well equipped and maintained. But, it's expensive for overlanding accommodation (350p) and the music is terrible. It goes from perhaps 1pm til 9pm, and is loud enough to be heard clearly inside our van with all doors and windows closed. I was here Wednesday through Saturday and music was bad every day, especially Friday. I've heard restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday so it should be quiet then, but can't confirm.

Also, this place (and Chetumal generally) is a mosquito bastion. Think biblical plague levels. It's awful if you're underprepared.

Report Check-In

We were there last Tuesday and it was like in old days. nice and quiet. The location of the site is beautiful, Sandra and the maintaince guy were very helpful and friendly and there a lot of renovation works done, it's a pity that the owners opened a bar with a loud music. Clean hot showers and restrooms, Wifi, nice palapas, laundry service.

Report Check-In

Really nice place, awesome views of the water. Swimming pool, showers, wifi and access to palapas. Monday and Tuesday the restaurant is closed so it was super quiet which was nice. Very expensive though as their price is for two people only and they charge for each extra person, so we paid an extra 75p each per kid for a total of 500p per night.

Report Check-In

Wow, this is a beautiful place to stay. You pay for it at 350/night, but it’s worth it for the experience. Swimming pool, lots of outdoor seating, good but slightly temperamental WiFi, amazing water view and sunrise. It’s nice having the restaurant/bar on-site, but prices are high. Only weird thing was they locked the women’s shower and bathroom overnight and into the morning, so I had to use the men’s. It felt like they were more accustomed to providing amenities for their cabin crowd than camping crowd, since there was also no place to wash dishes. But these are minor notes and we highly recommend a stay.

Report Check-In

$350/night for truck and trailer. Friendly staff. Power had reverse polarity and sometimes went over 132V, but I have equipment to fix that. Fast WiFi. Good cell signal. Excellent hot showers. Too windy and rough to swim. Music from the bar was not loud. Beautiful spot. Calderitas has some good seafood and they are developing a malecon. Chetumal is a pretty cool place. Easy drive to Bacalar for swimming or tours.

Report Check-In

A gréât place to stay few days. We are here for 4 nights with our big rigs of 34’’. The site have electricity. For running water and dump it’s on the main entrance of the camping site. 600$ MX for 2 adultes and 3 kids. A beautiful view on the beach and a good pool. The only things is the very loud music each thursday to sunday all day long.

Report Check-In

Good place to spend the night before or after crossing the border. We stayed for 2 nights. Monday and tuesday us the bar closed so it is quiet. Beautiful place with clean pool and toilets and showers. Showers are hot! They also do your laundry for an resonable price.

Report Check-In

The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday, hence also no music and very relaxed. Price of 350 includes a campervan (ours is about 20’) and two persons, each additional guest is 150.

Report Check-In

one of our favorite Spots so far. Nancy and Domingo are very helpful. you get wifi, electricity and your own bathroom wkth toilet and hot shower. the bar only opens from Wednesday to Sunday and the music did not disturb us at all. if you need a tsxi to go anywhere, Nancy will call it for you. a ride to Chedraui is around 60mxn. the restaurant la tortuga offers really nice food for very good prices. we payed 320mxn as we stayed more than 7 nights. standard price for small camper is 350mxn. it is save at night. there is a security guy in site all night. you have access to the pool too.

Report Check-In

As described very very nice place, restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday so, no music. 350 pesos 2p with the car, electricity, wifi, hot shower, swimming pool..

Report Check-In

I think it used to be a nice and quiet place. Now is a party animal restaurant with very loud music from 1pm till very late at night. The nice swimming pool is squatted by people that think they are on a regeatton video... Not the best place to relax! It's 350 pesos for an European motor home. (7 meters long)

Report Check-In

Price are at the moment - she showed me the printed price list-
350 for a small camper,
450 for medium camper
550 for big camper.
We have a 24 ft camper and managed to get charged for medium
Size… very nice place and next door restaurant la torgugas ( close at 18:30) is really good!

Report Check-In

Nice place, nice facilities, nice pool. Electric available at each site. One of the 4 bathrooms was unlocked for us. They are currently doing a lot of building. There is some noise and there are a lot of workers roaming around. No one else is staying but us. Very quiet night. We are 2 people and we were charged 350 after being told it was 320 without electricity. That was then revised that electricity was always included and the price is 350. The lady then told us that she was not sure of the price because she was new… ok…

350 pesos big rig, 2 people - we stayed 2 weeks,
very nice campground, hot (salty) showers, millions of flies ^^ but just a few were biting :) they are building new palapas, a bar and other stuff; not noisy! the staff is super nice but they dont speak english. no beach, water area with rocks and stones, pool was really good. outside is almost nothing, a few fish restaurants, a small supermarket on the right side when u go up. to Chetumal with taxi is 40 to 50 pesos - dont get scammed ;)
enjoy ur stay

Great location, Great staff, swimming pool, hot showers. the best campground we stayed in sofar in Mexico. 320 pesos per night. Highly recommended.

Stayed 10days and mostly just with one or two others on the huge and beautiful area; sometimes there is loud music from the nearby restaurant and the karaoke bar but mostly the music stops around 10p.m; the restrooms are very good and well maintained; lots of seabirds to see from the shoreline

Gorgeous, clean, super safe and comfy.
Expensive.

Not cheap, but very nice. Clean and warm showers. Internet good for a movie night. Wonderful Pool. The Restaurant nearby (rincon de las tortugas) is highly recommended.

Report Check-In

C’est super cool! Un peu chère peut-être? Mais le lieu est vraiment parfait et sécuritaire. Piscine et resto à proximité de la ville et les deux pieds dans l’eau on en demande pas plus.

Huge area but plenty of space. Clean toilets and hot showers. Quiet at night. With collectivo 7mex into Chetumal. Not cheap but worth ✌🏽

Report Check-In

Lovely place. Not cheap, but awesome. Directly at the carribean sea and witha pool. Quiet at night ... perfect
We stayed 3 nights.
They have a laundry service, 4KG for 65 Mex-$.

Report Check-In

Beautiful and luxurious place, but very expensive. We paid 350 pesos per night for two people. No discount possibilities. Why? Because of Christmas. I said we are in November, but no, August, September and October were low season, in November starts high season. We are the only ones staying here...

Report Check-In

Great spot to stay a couple days. To go fishing ask for Las Tortugas, the captain is called Alberto.

Report Check-In

Very nice camping. Right on the beach. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. The bathrooms and toilets are clean. Wifi, Electricity and water provided. Staff are very friendly. Highly recommend this camping. The price depends on the size of your truck or RV. We paid MX$600/night for our truck camper, 2 adults and 4 kids.

Report Check-In

Great place to lose a week. 10/10 as others have described, recommended. They are building new palapas, lots of construction, not loud or disturbing. Enjoy!

Best camping so far. Hot showers and clean bathrooms (2 for men and 2 for women). Very friendly people. 3 restaurants close by. Laundry service (50 pesos per load delivered). Dumping, electric at most sites. No water hookup at sites but there ya water. Right by ocean with good access to swim. Swimming pool super, palm trees. A 10 for us

The marisqueria next door. Las Torgugas is legit seafood.

Report Check-In

Yes, all latest comments accurate. It a great place to stay. The best we have been at in Mexico. About the discount we found out, that it applies as soon as you commit for 6 nights and more. So you can have the discount of 10% starting from day 1. But you wont get it if you pay for 5 days only and then extend your stay for less than 6 nights. Its not retroactive so to say. (Yes, that doesn't make sense at all, and yes I tried to tell them that...) :-)

Bon internet. Toutous heureux. Tranquille. Restos à proximités. Belle piste cyclable. Ruine à visiter. Kayak, planche de mer, apnée. Proximité des mercados de Chetumal. Traversier vers San Pedro-Caye Caukler, Belize. Endroit très chaleureux.

Beautiful camp on the edge of a turquoise sea with water and electricity plus two dump stations (at the entrance and exit). Pool, showers and toilets very clean. Land well appointed by the friendly Ernesto, laundry services on site. Good internet. Happy doggies. Quiet. Restaurants nearby. Beautiful bike path. Ruin to visit. Kayak, paddle board, snorkeling-diving. Proximity of the Mercado’s of Chetumal. Ferry to San Pedro-Caye Caukler, Belize. Very warm place.

Report Check-In

All of the latest comments are true and accurate.
Although it’s a quite expensive place you get value for the money! The staff is super friendly (only speak spanish) and we kept on extending our stay day by day.
From the 6th night on (but not before!) you get a discount of 10% on the price = 315 Pesos per car per night

Report Check-In

This is a delightful RV campground that also has 3 large cabanas, which rent for $1200 per night for 4 people. RV sites are $350 for 2. Very friendly managers and the pool, washrooms, and grounds are all immaculate. The property fronts on the ocean, but there is no beach. There are (slippery) steps down to the mostly sandy bottom bay. Wear swim booties! Small fish swim all around you. Tomorrow we will snorkel! We walked out into the bay, but not far enough to get more than chest high in the water. They have caravans here in Jan/Feb/March, but there are only 3 RVs here now. They had a lot of damage from hurricane Juan Luis last year and are still rebuilding their restaurant palapa, bigger and better than before. When done, they will have events like weddings again. The grounds are so spacious that we can't imagine it being overcrowded.

Report Check-In

We would never normally spend the money like this on a campground, but after the other option east of Chetumel was closed we chose this over a Walmart. What a great choice! Beautiful setting right on the Caribbean coast with a lovely pool, hot showers and fresh coconuts littering the floor! There is electricity, but we didn't try it. Owners were nice so thoroughly recommend as some r&r. 350 per night 2 people in a van.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful campground, friendly and helpful staff. The costs are 350Pesos for a small camper + 2adults but it’s worth the money! Clean bathroom and showers, pool and good possibility for swimming in the Caribbean Sea. (No Seaweed at all, which is a huge problem this summer at many places!) Wifi is fast, everywhere on the campground.
They do laundry for you, 50Pesos per load.
Electricity on the sites available.
Highly recommended! :)

Report Check-In

Staff were very friendly on arrival. They also do laundry now, but we had already used magic bubbles, so no experience. place is extremely nice, construction did not bother us. bathrooms very clean. direct access to the water. expensive but well worth the money from our view

Report Check-In

Construction work in the middle of the campground now.
Internet sometimes unreliable.
No credit cards at the moment.
Unless these cons it’s a nice place to relax for a couple of days.

Report Check-In

In almost 6 months traveling Mexico this was probably one of the nicest RV parks we’ve stayed at. Expensive but everything was clean and well cared for. WiFi is better the closer you are to the palapa “office”

Report Check-In

As expected, a pleasant place to stay with its limitations. Electricity at most sites, water at a central location near swimming pool and somewhat expensive for what you get $350 pesos per night for a 16ft trailer with two travelers. Also charges $300 pesos per night to storage.

Report Check-In

Very nice and clean facility. It has pool, electricity, hot showers, reasonable internet. The price is fixed: 350pesos/night. They are not very friendly and willing to negotiate. The owner is arrogant.

Report Check-In

Best place to camp in Quintana Roo close to town and quiet. Expensive but worth the money.

Report Check-In

Nice and clean, restaurants walking distance, great pool, stable power from outlets. Water refill and sani dump. $350 pesos per night. Good breeze off the bay. Last stop before crossing into Belize. Spent 3 nights.

Nice place with electric. Bathrooms were very clean and the hot shower was great. Really great bathrooms/showers!
Nice grassy area with plenty of room. Pool was clean. Right on the bay.
Paid $125mxn per person - $250mxn for 2 people and a truck camper.
Good area to stock as there are big stores in the area. Home Depot, Auto Zone, Wal-Mart and the like all in the area.

Report Check-In

400 pesos a night for our RV 22 ft long. So much mosquitoes.
There was people listening loud music in the campground until late at night who didn't respect others so we spent a very bad night.
The pool was not very clean.
Bathrooms clean.

Report Check-In

$500 pesos per night, two drains and one water source for the whole camp. Electricity was abundant but not 100% to use fridge on electric.

The area itself was beautiful and spacious, right by the water, with a nice pool and great hot water showers and bathrooms. The ocean didn’t look nice enough to swim in tho.

Nice place but expensive for having lack of hookups at each site. Easy to get to, but the drain we used was not.

Beautiful location. Quiet. Clean tidy grounds. Nice walking towards Chetumal for exercise. Easy drive to Bacalar, Pueblo Magico. Fantastic swimming pool. 350 pesos for 2 people and truck towing 23 ft trailer. Wifi average. Only electric at sites. Must move to fill up with water (need to turn on pump). Must also move for sewer.

Report Check-In

Great location at the water, beautiful clean grounds and refreshing pool. Ocean does not appeal to swimming. Toilets and showers are so/so. Did not get cleaned in the 2 days we were there. Showers mostly cold.

Very nice place... lots of grass . Must of been a fort in it’s time! Size matters here as they charged us more !! No one here and we didn’t want to use any electricity!! We did negotiate but it was hard as we don’t speak all of the language!! It is what it is for the night

Report Check-In

Beautiful place .. lots of grass
And great parking. They seem to charge based on size. Now we were the only ones in the park and were not going to use electricity but they still charged by size!!

Report Check-In

We stayed for a week and loved it. Some days the ocean breeze is perfect, other days the stillness means the mosquitoes are swarming. The ocean access is good for a swim or a SUP/kayak/etc. The pool is cleaned weekly. As are the bathrooms. The restaurant is overpriced. The grounds are spotless with some shade. Electric is hit and miss. Water is available at cistern near pool. Sewer dumps at some sites. On-site staff 24 hrs were always cheerful and friendly. Walking to local restaurants and small tiendas. Laundry available for 50p per load, but didn't get very dry. Saw a manatee in the bay. Birds. Iguanas. No other campers in the week we were here. Quiet and restful.

Great area...people working there are nice. That being said. They didn't clean the bathrooms for 4 days. No discount on the price of 350 pesos. No water hookups. Pool dirty. Wifi is good (only reason why we stayed).
So in the end I wouldn't recommend it.

Report Check-In

Great area to stay. Clean pool, not totally clean washrooms, average water pressure in the shower. Huge lots and electric at all of them. Fast WIFI. $300MX/2people/night. Kind of odd..the gate got locked around 8:30 and everyone left. No security guard overnight. However there were a few men doing construction and they slept at the site. No other campers when we were there. Gate opened around 8AM. Cabanas available.

Report Check-In

Good place to relax, good staff most of them speak only Spanish. Prices are 300 pesos per night for a camper or a big rig with 2 adults and they charged us 50 pesos more for our 12 years old daughter.
Wifi, swimming pool, clean showers, and Electricity all included in the price (no discount if you don't need it).
We were only 2 rigs in may, and it was possible to pick up mangoes and coconut on trees.

It is a nice place and a beautiful location, but they are not welcoming, actually it looks like they just want our money. They asked 300mx for 2 cars next to us and 350mx for us. Report Check-In

Absolutely not recomended, unless you like bad faces and treatment since you arrived. They charge you whatever they like when you arrive, so it is not fair. l

Great place as everyone said. We found a wine we liked at the bar and the waiter set up a tablecloth and snacks and brought an ice bucket to the palapa at the water's edge. We paid 400 pesos for two vehicles/4 people.

Beautiful place. Totally agree with all the positive comments. They also allowed us to keep our RV here for a month whilst we visited Belize. Very friendly owner. Well organised and good value. Laundry on site. Only negatives were no warm showers, and we prefer a livelier bar.

200 pesos. Very nice with no Mosquitos due to a light wind. Internet pretty good as we were camped near restaurant. No hot water.

Quiet and relaxing staid for New.Year, quietest New a Year we have ever had! Had to resort to a video of Big Ben striking midnight. All restaurants closed by 7pm including New Year.

Great spot before Belize! Highly recommend the shrimp cerviche from the restaurant.

We visited Yax Ha the 3th time. We still like it. The is no "beach" but the lagoon is nice to swim and the pool is quite nice and clean. Showers and bathrooms most of the time clean (women should use the men's right shower for more water flow :) ). Electricity nearly everywhere of the place available. Water is only available to fill up your tank. Internet quite fast. They have a laundry, ask for it. :)
