Something not right?

Description

A mission where we could stay. We could set up our tent but we decided to stay in a house. House is clean, no running water, no power. We think we have to pay 6000 but we hear the price tomorrow morning (becouse arrived sunday late afternoon). *update: decided to sleep in our rooftent after finding bugs in the beds!

Lovely spot, safe and friendly. We gave a 10 USD donation to Dr Steven. He told us overlanders are welcome, but to give advanced notice!

We pitched our tent next to a house which they opened for us to shower and use the toilet. They asked for 10‘000 TZS. Nice place for one night.
Don‘t expect privacy though. A group of children followed us from the outside and stayed around until we went to bed. They were just curious, as always.

Welcoming people and our kids had fun playing soccer and netball with the kids here. It’s actually Dr Steve who welcomed us - he is a specialist in medicine and works at the mission. Otherwise as stated already. They didn’t ask for money but we gave a donation of Ts30000

Warm welcome. Parked next to a long drop loo, very clean. List of interest from children around the area, but they went when it got dark and they were not pestering us. It’s for a donation and we have 30,000 TSh for 3 of us. Had access to water too.

Fine for a stopover in RTT if you don't need facilities. Lots of attention of children while we were cooking. Father Steve show us flat area near carpentry workshop. As we didn't use any facilities we stayed for free.

Report Check-In

Father Steven gave us a warm Welcome. There is a pit Toilet and Tap with Rainwater where we were allowed to Camp. Friendly Watchman at Night. Okay for one Night.

lovely owner of the mission let us camp for free as we pulled in because it was raining and getting dark. No facilities.
