Something not right?

Description

Nice peaceful spot, with picnic tables, some grills, and a bathroom nearby. Also a playground if you have kids. No pets are allowed in the park, but boat ramp area seems to be ok. Not as busy as many boat launches, so quieter than most. The park itself is day use, but the boat ramp area is good to park in for overnight. I stayed two nights here with no problems.

BEWARE:

The cops stalked us and hunted us down pulled me outside at 6:00 in the morning from the boat ramp area when we had a boat and we're gonna go out wanted to nap a little bit 1st anyways pulled me outside basically in my underwear with no shoestew's strip search me in front of male and female officers arrested my boyfriend for trust passing riptide RV apart inside it out and had it impounded and left me and my 2 large dogs on the side of the road in the heat with one large suit case. I had to pack in a couple minutes . Since they had no case it got dropped but they literally hunted us down on Merritt Island But brought I cannot unit this time and had it alert on my boyfriend which they had or re arrested who had nothing on him and are still facing fighting the charges A literally ambushed humiliated threatened us And told me if they see me anywhere in the county they will do everything they can to take everything including my dogs from me. These are the brevard county sheriff's on Merritt Island. Be aware. Ballish and his posse be aware of them. Not all Brevard County Sherrifs are like this but they are very strict and petty on Merrit Island.

Beautiful bioluminescence there is a no overnight sign before you enter the park area which is a little bit further back there's a tennis Court with a spigot out front also a couple other spigots I think In front of or near the bathrooms.

Report Check-In

The boat ramp area is ok to park on, also for RV’s. Toilets in the park were open all night. The street is not far so it does get quite noisy, also at night. We were woken up at 06:00 by people launching their boats.
The playground was closed due to construction work. Otherwise, nice site.

Report Check-In

Bathrooms are open 24/7 which makes it nice. There are signs as you enter the park saying no overnight parking. However there is parking before you pass the sign that is not designated as a no overnight parking spot. Police routinely come in and patrol, we had an officer pull in behind us into the park and sit a few minutes before leaving. The next morning another officer did the same. No one bothered us. We stayed here two nights with no issues.

nice peaceful night here. great park. didn't hear the transformer buzzing some else mentioned so that was good. bathrooms were locked. even during the day.

Report Check-In

Cool little spot, park rules say no overnighting with out a permit so we stayed close to the boat ramp perfect for a one or two night stay, a little loud for a Sunday night?

Report Check-In

Only downside to this spot is that you are right next to a giant electrical power plant and the transformers buzz 24/7.

Report Check-In

Parked for the night. No problems. walked to the bathroom in the middle of the night and they were open.
