Large gravel area off the road next to old bridge (weight limit 5t – although we went over it anyway). No facilities. Very quiet overnight. Free. Also spot down by river but not flat and only really suitable for smaller vehicles.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spend one night here but we enjoyed more the « Cascada Los Ramones » on IOverlander and the phone signal is better on the other spot ;)
Here you cannot go easily to swim on the river
Spent 3 nights on the gravel area before the bridge with shadow.
Some local pass by feet and few véhicule.

Report Check-InBefore the bridge on the right is a large pull out. Big rigs ok. Next to the river, great to refresh. There is 2 platforms under the bridge to put a tent. Quiet at night, not much traffic. The weather is chilly at night, you’ll sleep very well!!

Report Check-InThe police woke us up at 2:30 am and told us to leave that place because it's unsafe. They told about armed robberies and recommended the grassy field at Hotel Ladera (also iOverlander) as a safe place. We moved over there because they were quite vigorous.
Report Check-InIt is close to the road, but quiet at night.we ask at the tourist information where to camp and the recommended this place.police drive by and waved.
Report Check-InWe camped here by the river as the gravel lot is right next to a soccer field. Temperature was amazing after sweating it out for several a weeks in the Central American heat of the jungle in Costa Rica. Price was free.
