Description

A parking station in the centre of town that accepts Overlanders . We did not stay but described our vehicle ( 6.5 m truck camper ) and they advised it would be 35 sols for 24 hours. Includes toilet and cold shower and gated security. It's shaded with high clearance for bigger rigs.

We stayed one week here to enjoy the city of Arequipa. Well situated, toilets and shower(5s). Jeni even let the door open for us to go out outside the parking opening hours. We paid 35s per 24hours. For us great place to visit the city!

a quiet parking lot, but you can only get in and out until 9 pm, on Sundays the responsible person closes the gates and leaves at 2 pm and the only returns at 10 pm, if you decide to stay you will not be able to leave, you can only leave in the morning on Monday. We pay 30solis a day.

Good place to stay, if you want to be in the town center. About 10min walk to Plaza de Armas. Big rigs fit well (ours is Alt.: 3,7m, L: 7,3m). As mentioned before Arequipa streets are a bit narrow, but we did fit through. Super nice family. And it’s calm during the night.

Excellent location but ultimately a parking lot. Spent a week here while using the Selina co-work space for work. Orlando and his family are really kind. Scalding hot showers are available for 5/s.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for a few days. It's just a parking lot (no height restrictions, but note that streets in Arequipa are rather narrow), it's secure, has a bathroom with shower (electronically heated, so choose between very little but hot water or a lot but lukewarm water).

Nice family. But they closed the parking lot on a holiday without telling us, and locked in our car and a few other cars.

Report Check-In

Just wanted to add that the shower has one of these electronic flow through heating system, where you have little but hot water.

we spend 2 tantas here, It was calm, and I think It is the best choice in Arquipa, near of the historical monumentos and It is possible to Full fill the Water tank. but, It is a little dusty, there are some street noisy and they close the gates after 9 PM. PEN 30/ night.

Parking lot in the City Center. Very well accessible for big rigs, our truck camper is 7,5 m long x 2,52 m wide x 3,4 m high. We stayed here 3 nights, very safe. Friendly, helpful and welcoming family. During the night you don’t hear any noise, the gate is closed around 9 PM, it opens around 8 AM. Sometimes somebody knocks and they open the gate little before, to let a car enter, but close it again. We arrived around 2 PM, a good moment to find places for big rigs and manoeuvre. The best moment is coming or leaving before 10 in the morning, when the parking lot is still 50 % empty and there is all the space to move around. Don’t arrive at the busy moments: around noon and after 5 PM, difficult to enter with a big rig at those moments. We filled up our water tank. There are toilets and a shower, but we didn’t ask to use it since we have our own. We paid 30 PEN per 24 hours. We consider this a fair price, seen the location and the hourly rate of 2,5 PEN per vehicle (we’ve seen other parking lots in the city, that asked 3,4 - 4 PEN per hour). Several laundries nearby, as from 5 PEN per kilo, same day service (Calle Jerusalem, to the right).

The best parking for very big rig in the Center.
The family that takes care of it is very nice.
Got it for 30 sole per day.
no limit of size there... we saw a huge American motorhome parked there.
it can be crowded at some hours but they will help you to find a solution.
At night and in the morning, just a few cars, so best moment to get in or out.
They close the gate at 10.30pm but you can knock at the door to get in to sleep in your rig (or you can phone the guard/owner).
location is perfect
night are very quiet
we deeply recommend!!
