Parque acuático Araque is on San Pablo lake side. Very very nice place, quiet and safe. A bit busy on sundays. Can swim in the lake and the river. There are toilets and a restaurant, but only during the weekends. Games for kids, natural pool, we loved this place and free! To find the place look for a big sign on the road, after Cabañas del Lago. Is not very far from Otavalo center, you can leave your car on the lake and take the bus to the town for only 35ctvs.

Nos quedamos una noche en este lugar sin ningún problema. El tema es que ahora está algo cerrado ya que hubo un incidente con unas personas que se ahogaron en el lago. En la noche estuvimos solos y fue bastante seguro.
Report Check-Inwe arrived at sunday afternoon. Parking fee was one dollar. It was very bussy but also very intersting to see all the locals celebrating. the parking area is very safe and quiet at night.

peaceful night, free wifi (but you have to stick to the big round shaped restaurant to have it right), games for kids, football playground, basketball playground... and a large parking lot.
Dormimos 4 noches acá. El lugar es espectacular, súper tranquilo.
Al lado del lago y hay wifi abierto.
Parfait endroit ,calme la semaine , beaucoup de monde les weekends. Superbe marché à Otavalo le samedi avec 99,9% de produits locaux . Petite panaderia avec petites boules de pain chaudes vers l'église ;) , wifi gratuite . Location de kayak , jeux pour enfants et terrain de foot . Ballade dans les montagnes aux alentours possibles... le tout gratuit ;)

Report Check-InA nice place, Friday night we share the place with some drunken people with loud music. For us the better option at weekend (00°13′36.27″N 78°14′26.59″W) on the road to the condorpark with a great view and quiet at night
