Nice views, no one around but for an rv here and there a few miles out. You can see the lake from here, more or less. Interesting terrain. Good enough cellular signal.

Nice spot down this road with good views and plenty of space for parking! Can get down here with a trailer also. 3.2 mile hike or bike ride on the burro trails to lake Alamo from the campsite.
Report Check-Innice paved drive from Wenden. But to get to BLM you need to turn right at blue Wayside sign and go gravel about 3 kms before the state park. Very open, no place to hide if it's windy. I'm getting about 2-3 bars Verizon, more if I put booster on. All RVs will fit here, but it's a rough bumpy road, took us about 15 minutes in truck camper. Can dump and fill fresh at state park, we didn't so not sure of the price. Lots of OHV and jeep trails. Lots of wild donkey poop, but no live animal yet.
