Free. I used Google Maps to view the road on the other side of the cathedral and river. A bit of a drive. Continue on the road past Los Lajas. In the tiny town of Potosi, continue straight to a dirt road, then take the first right. Follow the dirt road until you get to a small bridge. Good, quiet spot for the night. 1 minute walk to the overlook. It's also possible to park next to the houses at the overlook. Best views of Las Lajas. Very quiet at night. No services or bathrooms.
….
Perfecto para los más aventureros. La iglesia va a quedarte en tu ventana!!!
Si caminas hacia el ángel en la última casa la señora es muy amable y podría prestarte el baño.

Such a great flat parking spot to walk down and see the church for free. Definitely worth a visit both day and night when it is lit up.
Gravel road to the spot was fine in our 2wd Sprinter and sufficient room for a few campervans.
No facilities.
Decent Claro signal.
Grassy and quiet location right next to the church. It's really perfect for visiting, especially since parking is free. Do not miss the night tour, the church is lit in all colors, it's kitsch but pretty. There is very little traffic here, it is a dead end. There is some water (not potable) at the fountain.
Report Check-InSafe place to spend the night, great view of the lighted church two min walking. Very quiet.
Report Check-Instill a quiet and safe place to spend the night. We slept in our van on the small grassy field. There's not much room to park a car at the view point ant there's also a no parking sign. But the field was fine for one night.
Report Check-InHiker/ Biker very nice spot (don't know for cars, feels like you'd be in front of houses). As cyclists we stayed in the little park of the Angel Gabriel's monument: beautiful view and very quiet and tranquilo, even on a Saturday night.
If you are a cyclist please note that you can go through the Sanctuary and up by the stairs, it will be less difficult than going all the way around by Potosí (veeery steep hills)
for us this was not such an amazing place as described. felt like the garden of the nearby houses, and one of them had a commercial parqueadero. no services, no meadow... we are at the parking of the teleférico now, for free with open WiFi and toilets. Asked for permission at the ticket office, friendly woman said it's no problem.
Report Check-Inwhaooo, nous sommes resté une nuit ici au bout du chemin sur le bord du précipice . Magnifique vue sur le sanctuaire et en plus il y a de la wifi ( faible mais gratis) , les locaux ont été sur sympa avec nous .
Report Check-InAmazing free camping spot! Just like the description, it has an excellent location, 5 minute walk to the church. Not the best to use a tent but we stuck a tent and a hammock between our two cars so you can make it work!
Report Check-InAmazing spot. Just parked at the viewpoint. in the night the sanctuario is illumninated
Report Check-InAwesome spot to spend a night on Las Lajas, best view quiet and safe at night !!
