Description

C40000 per person per night camping. Water, power (from socket by gate), showers (cold) and nice toilets. Big swimming pool – cool but very refreshing. Owner is father of owner of Casa Grande on coast – very welcoming. Turn from road is not that obvious but is opposite petrol station about 5km South of town – up the hill. Pass over narrow bridge, through mock castle gateway (high clearance – we made it underneath with an inch or two to spare) and down dirt track to Candado. The left turn between the gateway and the bridge on the way out is tight, may not be possible for vehicles much longer than us (25 feet).

Very cool place with kids! Not so noisy. We stayed there 4 nights. 40000/p/n with breakfast. Pool, wifi, laundry, playground..:host are very nice.

Lovely place to stay. It’s a little far to walk from San Gil but it’s near the main road and there’s a fairly regular mini bus. Can get busy during the day with kids parties and stuff but the camping area is sheltered from that. In the evenings you have the pool to yourself.

nice place. good pool. dry ground even though it's been really rainy. not to loud compared to some. cold shower but free coffee and nice gazebo to sit in the shade ot escape the rain. I would stay here again. they have some construction work going on but it ends pretty early in the afternoon.

We paid 20K COP per person per night to camp on a grassy parking lot. There’s 3 parking lots and we preferred the lower one next to the big pool. It’s a little expensive for Colombia, especially if you have a big family. Great for kids though with two big pools and a little playground. Jacuzzis aren’t really any warmer than the pools though and the shower is cold but feels good if it’s hot out. Great place if you have passengers that need a cute hotel with beautiful little Hobbit houses being built. Road noise isn’t bad if you park next to the river it drowns it out a bit. If you’re just looking for a shower and parking spot for a night, don’t bother. If you plan to spend a few days relaxing in the pool it’s worth it. Enjoy!

The name is Hotel Casa Grande. We camped here for two days for 30k pesos per person per day. I think it is quite expensive but there are showers, restrooms and a very good swimming pool. Also there is a lot of road noise, you can hear trucks all night passing by as it is very close to a main road.

Wrong name... the right name is Condado (County) de Casa Grande.

Also known as Casa Grande, owned by same family that owns Casa Grande Surf near Tyrona park. 25k pp now. Electric available and little hobbit like cabins for rent as well. The creek, pools, and little merry go round in the mock castle are great for kids.

Nice place to stay, we liked it. The staff is very friendly, the pool is nice and clean. A bus to San Gil starts directly at the street, 200 m from the entrance. Of course, the trafic is noisy early at the morning and later in the evening. There are also some Cabanas for rent. Camping 16000 per person per night.
