as Sihanoukville is being destroyed by Chinese and rent prices have exploded, locals have come down here to claim unclaimed land. driving through this area you will see many small metal huts. my best guess is that this will become a new city at some point. about this spot - it's right on the beach. some garbage around. a few locals come to visit and fish from time to time but they won't disturb you. pretty much paradise. ground is hard all the way to the beach. so no weight or size restrictions for big rigs. metfone lte coverage.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Couldn’t find how to get there. Now the main road 4 is a highway and there is no exit nearby.
The less fat exit seems to be #172 but it’s still very far. And then you might find a way through the bushes using the dirt roads but no guarantee. We couldn’t give it a try and went to Sihanoukville beach to the other iOverlander spot.
