Description
Nice campground at the beach with friendly owner. Parillas, cold showers, basic baños, fantastic sunset. Slept here before project dino further north and enjoyed it a lot. 620 pesos/night for two persons and one car.
in low season the campground is only open on weekends and festivals. Don‘t know about high season.

As described a nice camping area with many places along lake shore. Many day users left and we had a quiet evening, night and morning our vehicle was parked immediately (2m)from lake on a level, grassy spot.
There is a prominent sign at the entrance announcing no loud music or other disturbances allowed, and a quiet time for the grounds.
If arriving from the east there is a sign announcing the entrance. It does not display to the traffic arriving from the west.
Tip: follow road past main campground to find a secluded spot between two popular beaches that has a little shade, is level and has lots of grass. You will be a long ways from the bathrooms but also the crowds of campers. Bushes nearby to relieve oneself. Out of WiFi range but excellent 4g phone/data reception.
Only negative is hearing very low but constant dull roar from nearby (several ks) surrounding oilfield flare-offs and infrastructure. Not intolerable as it sounds much like a train or highway in the far distance as it carries in on the wind.
Paid 1600 pesos ($8USD) for two persons.
Report Check-InExpensive but nice camping with private beach, fantastic sunset. Peacefull during the week, more people with music & Assado party on weekends - some people come just for the day. Friendly family owners.
Price is now 950p for 2pax + 350p for Motorhome. they offer us a discount (1750p for 2 nights 2adult and 1child with Motorhome)
