Overnight parking on a big gravel area in San Pedro Juchatengo because we were not able to make it till the coast before dark after we lost 2 hours circumnavigating a road block of Mex 131 in Valdeflores on very bad roads, across a field and through a wash. We asked two residents if it is ok to stay here - no problem. Unfortunately some people shot fireworks the whole night. This scared the burrows and they woke up the roosters. You are in a small town in a valley with some nice topes. So the truck drivers can check their engine brakes. You can here them some miles up the canyon. Because the road ist winding, steep and narrow, so It seems to be saver for them travelling in the night. There are no good overnight options along Mex 131, the best is the new and clean G500 gas station north of Villa Sola de Vega.
