Chile
Close to the southernmost point of the south American continental mainland (which is just down the road), this recreated wooden fort is an important part of Chile's cultural heritage. A bit expensive at 14,000pp, the facilities are excellent and there is good English translations throughout. The information centre in particular is very well done. Cafe and gift shop is surprisingly cheap. If you like cultural and maritime history I think you will enjoy this place.
