Something not right?

Description

Close to the southernmost point of the south American continental mainland (which is just down the road), this recreated wooden fort is an important part of Chile's cultural heritage. A bit expensive at 14,000pp, the facilities are excellent and there is good English translations throughout. The information centre in particular is very well done. Cafe and gift shop is surprisingly cheap. If you like cultural and maritime history I think you will enjoy this place.

parking near the sea side of this small natural fishermen harbour. A few houses looks like secundary residency. Noone after 8pm. Very quiet and accessible. If you are desperate for water the house on the left looking towards the sea, have got blue sealed container, beware of the aggressive dog.
