Description

There is a sign on the gate "Zona Para Acampar 2,000pp" so we let ourselves in to the empty place and a few hours later a woman came walking up for payment. Fire Pits. Lots of fire wood. One porta-potty on the property. Best part though is the creepy old church across the filed daring you to peek into it. Nothing special, just a cheap spot for when you don't feel like looking any further.

Let ourselves in the gate based on previous comments. I believe the owner prefers you stop by the house first. Regardless, they walked over, we paideia and they were fine with it. Beautiful place, nice owner, paid 3000pp

Really beautifull spot, worth the stop here. We stayed 2 night becauce it was too beautifull to leave, if you’re into photography or film maker please check this place. The little toilet was very clean!

very beautiful and calm place, the only disturbance were some cows mooing.. :) sure the carratera is close but the traffic is low. we can't understand how people negotiated the price..! 2000 pesos are by far fair for a clean (confirmed by other overlanders) pit toilet and tap water. enough fire pits and four tables. but space for a dozen and mor tents and some big rigs. the church isn't that creepy. we checked for ghost nuns, but we were all alone tho whole stay. highly recommended!

Report Check-In

Quiet and cheap. Mostly flat and some places in the trees. One portapotte toilet but flushing with bucket of water.
Grassy pitches unlike the campsite in Villa Santa Lucia which was gravel and not great for tents.
Nice views!

Great campsite! Cheap, has everything you need.

Good shade, water and a pit toilet. Good stay after a long day. $2000 pp as advertised.

Report Check-In

Negotiated the price down to 1500 pp. Ecotoilet clean, potable water from the tap. Indeed a creepy old church, but nice to stay the night.

Report Check-In

nice place with the sun in the evening and in the morning. still 2000 pp.

Nice campsite by the river. Quiet, porta potty was very clean. Easy access to water and wood. The lady is living on the other side of the road. Price is still CHP 2000pp. Highly recommand!

Nice campground. At the time being it was the only place to camp in Villa Santa Lucia, and it was a beautiful place to stay the night with plenty of wood for fire.
2000p.p...

We just drove past this place. The church looks brilliant. We didn't stay but it still exists if you need a stop off.
