Después de leer los comentarios, estaba con recelo de ir al SENASA en El Calafate. Pero nos llevamos una sorpresa. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por David. Llevamos todos los documentos que fueron solicitados (Certificado realizado en Veterinaria Huellas) y no tuvimos problemas.

Came here to do the papers for the dog to cross to Chile.
Nice guy, did it on the spot in 45 minutes.

The guy refused our health certificate paperwork on the tenth day of validity. We went to the nearby vet, got updated paperwork, and returned an hour later. He was gone. Never found him again. Ended up driving to Rio Gallegos… Not recommended if you can avoid it. Good luck!

Did the papers with Vet Patagonia for 900 pesos and took the papers to Senasa the next day. They were ready around 10am. 2 days. No issues, nice guy.

this office has moved but nevertheless it's a worthless office as the vet seems to not be there every day and he/she is required for the paperwork -50.339328,-72.267082

just plan to go to Rio gallegos. it's not really that far our of the way.

After 3 days trying to get a health certificate for my dog here (plus a weekend in the middle), I gave up and got it in 20 minutes in Rio Gallegos (at calle España 260) On friday the vet just didn't show up. monday the system was slow so they asked me to come back the next day. Tuesday there was no internet... If you plan to get your papers here, come on your first day in Calafate.

These people don't have a clue what they are doing, and by "these people" I mean the one lady who works here that can't actually authorize or stamp the forms because they don't have a SENASA veterinarian on staff anymore. She looks at your paper while smoking her cigarettes, drinking her matte and tells they you need to go back to Gregorio. Then tells my friend an hour later who tried that she can scan and send the paper up to Gregorio and they can stamp it and send it back. Great, problem solved. She send out paperwork over and says come back in 2 hours. (15 minutes before they close, on a Friday). We show to collect our paperwork and find out she left out important information for the vet in Gregorio and they can't do it until Monday. Hope you never need to deal with these people. Also, price is up to $80p

Export certificate costs 80 pesos now, you can pay with debit /credit card to avoid going to the bank.

Exportation paper for Chile. You need certificado de salud not older than 10 days, rabies vaccinacion certificate and proof of deparasitacion not older than 30 days. The export permit costs 32 pesos. Open between 8 and 13. Can pay with debit/credit card.
