Something not right?

Description

We needed to stop between Guatemala and Nicaragua andwe were too cheap to pay for a hotel. This gas station did the trick. The attendants were nice as was the shotgun-carrying guard who works all night. There are bathrooms and a mini-mart. No charge to stay.

We stayed here in our 41’ skoolie 22,000lb 13m 10kkg. Asked the guard to open the gate and he did. Asked how much he wanted and he said 50 lempira. We backed in near the road and we’re close enough for our 9 meter 25 foot water hose to reach the water Spicket and filled 100 gallons 375 liters without asking. But I’m sure if you ask there wouldn’t be a problem. We were fresh out so it was a huge blessing. Yes it’s noisy but you are away from it mostly. If you’re a light sleeper or a Karen this isn’t the place for you.

We stayed here for one night while crossing Honduras. We asked the security guy if it’s okay to sleep here for one night and he said it’s no problem. He sent us to the gravel lot next to the gas station and opened the small gate that we can drive on to it. We gave him a small tip and had a good night. Toilets are open, clean and have paper.

Pasamos una noche demasiado calurosa y ruidosa, pero buena... El seguridad nos pidió dinero para quedarnos, le dimos 40 lempiras

LOUD!!! We did not sleep the whole night. People partied all night in the green space. A car pulled next to us opened all doors and the trunk to ensure everyone heard the music. Busy road with honking big rigs passing all night. It is a safe place to stop so you are not driving at night, but do not expect sleep.

Nothing to add, great place, good people, FREE, nice place to eat, they have benches with mattress if you are like us sleeping in a tent, no need for it. And as well tables to eat, I. A nice corner. I can only recommand if you're in this part of Honduras. Don't be afraid of the shotgun guard that works at night, he is very kind! Even came to offer us toilet and ask if we need anything else

Free WiFi inside mini shop with air conditioning until 10pm. Stayed one night, not level, but we felt safe. Paid guard a tip of $1 per car (we had a group of 3 cars). Bathroom open all night.

Electric car charging stations. I know there are few of you traveling the pan-am but I know you're out there!

Good gas station, with places to park and spend the night. There’s plenty of plugs outside to charge the phone. Bathrooms available. No showers.

Parked in the dirt lot next door. Only drawback is it's right next to the diesel pump. Typical gas station and highway noise with buses and trucks parked here. Super clean toilets with paper! The mini mart serves hot food and meals. Parked here with a 25' Class C.
