Large dirt parking lot for the Seven Magic Mountains art installation. Some loud highway noise, but an easy spot for a night's rest. Garbage cans on site and good cell service. No "No Overnight Parking" signs.

People saying it’s loud never slept at a rest area or a Walmart before I think !
Very quiet in the night, barely heard traffic, no one bother us and the sunset on the Seven was so peaceful.
Perfect if you plan to spend the following day in Vegas, or on your way out of it too !
Loud from highway, train and folks stopping with music blasting. Wouldn’t suggest.
Report Check-InMoonlight Night! Occasional highway headlights. Freeway fairly far off.
Report Check-InSo glad that my GPS takes me on side roads. Saw these colorful boulders balancing on each other from a distance and had to stop to check them out.
Report Check-InAbout one mile south of here is a large BLM dispersed camping area. From Seven Magic Mountains, go south until you see the sign for the cement company. It's a paved road in, with dirt or gravel roads going to several places to camp in a large, flat area, or more in the mountains if you're willing to take some rougher roads. It's very dusty in the flat area though. VERY dusty.
Report Check-Ingreat spot! woke up with a view of the "magic mountains" a train and some highway noise here but it's not too bad. dirt road to dirt lot with a garbage bin. some trash on the ground. people coming by early morning to see the painted rocks. good cell service for sprint and att. we didn't want to stay in the noisy city this spot saved us.
