Looks like a popular dog walking area, so be prepared to wake early. But it's nicely tucked away in the back parking lot. Complete with washrooms!

Spent a great afternoon here and will attempt to spend the night even though there are no overnight parking signs.
Report Check-InSpent night from 9 PM to 7 AM.Spent night from set 9 PM to 7 AM.at day light runners and fishermen came. No one bothered us. One other RV spent night. Saw seals playing in river and other wildlife Large otters ran right through parking lot.
Report Check-InNice place, I parked near the toilet at the end of the parking. Had a great night but plan to leave early. At 7:45AM a ranger knock at my door to tell me that I am not suppose to be there. But she was nice and ask to not come again.
Report Check-InIt’s a state park and there’s NO CAMPING signs posted everywhere but we spent the night by the toilets in the back and didn’t get bothered. Another van stayed overnight in the parking lot. The place is absolutely gorgeous and it looks like people come here to walk their dog. LOTS of big mosquitoes (at least at the end of the day). They don’t seem to hang by the beach but they’re everywhere in the parking lot.
Report Check-InWe camped by the toilets. It was very quiet and peaceful. We arrived at 9:15 and left by 7am; did not see anyone whilst there.
Report Check-InIt's Day Use Only. Near the toilets it's only alowed to overnight with special permit, issued by head state park. We did not stay.
Report Check-Inas stated, they are putting in a new bridge do the road is closed off just past the restrooms. They are only pit toilets. there are no camping signs all over but according to Google it's not state park close to the bridge so we parked there. a ranger cam about 8:45 am but there were a few other cars by then and no one saud anything to us.
Report Check-InJust as described. Beautiful site. We parked in the back near the toilets. They are doing construction on the road past the toilets, gated off, so Monday morning trucks were in and out. We arrived early evening Sunday night and stayed till Monday morning. A few other campers were there as well. Monday morning, a ranger (doing bathroom upkeep) told us we weren't allowed to stay overnight because the area is part of California state parks. She was very nice about it and we didn't stay another night.
Report Check-Innice place, quiete in the night, many walkers early in the morning
Report Check-InNice quiet place...Not allowed but nobody say anything.... lots of mosquitoes at night :-)
Report Check-InSweet riverside/beach spot. Perfect for dog walking. Well used by really friendly local joggers, cyclists and dog walkers. Signage says no camping, and park closed between 10pm and 5am. Parky came round at 9am to check the toilets and never said anything to us. Bear left on the drive in until you arrive at the clean pit toilets and the closed gate on an old logging trail. Really nice trail. Very quite night.
