A large pull-out on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some traffic, but nothing during the night. Relatively level with T-mobile reception. 4g. Beautiful view of the mountains! We had no trouble staying here for a night
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
this is just a pull over in plane view like every other pull over on BRP... I'm a little confused why this one is marked as a place to stay over night but no others are. I passed many pullovers that were easy better bc this one was listed. I literally park and sleep in neighborhoods and all kinds of places but don't think I will stay here. if you want to, fine I just wanted to let everyone know it's just like ever other overlook pull over... someone saying be "stealthy" .. well there's no way. I thought it was at least in the woods a little
Report Check-InBeautiful view, only stayed for one night. Had no issues with staying, very quite at night and pretty busy in the morning with tourists.
Report Check-InWoke up with the sunrise and a cup of coffee. It really is a beautiful overlook.
Report Check-InBeautiful overlook, cicadas and crickets are the soundscape. After 10pm barely any passing cars. Very peaceful.
Only person parked up here for the night.
BRP currently closed 3.7 miles before this pin. Likely due to winter weather, but wanted to save anyone the trouble of driving up before checking the road reports.
