One of the coolest campgrounds I’ve stayed at. There is a campsite about 20m from the gorge with a breathtaking view. There are lots of hiking trails all around the area as well.

Report Check-InThis campground is owned by the US Forestry Service (like others in the area), but managed by a contractor. There are about 8 campsites. The fee was $22 in the summer of 2020. The pit toilets are well maintained but very small. It is not a long walk to large toilet facilities by the Visitor Center. There is another campground nearby called Canyon Rim Campground.
