There is a little platform to put your tent, but the beach is huge so you can camp anywhere.
In May the water was too cold to swim, but locals were brave enough :-)
There is some shade under trees.
A lot of resorts around, but enough dirt tracks going down to the beach. No 2WD needed, we went with a teeny-tiny Chevrolet and made it :-)
Maybe it’s crowded on weekends.
