Description

Nice spot on short turning to dirt road in the forest, sunny place. We were there during weekend and no car around. To go up normal asphalt road.

All good as described below, recommended

Report Check-In

We stayed 1 night with our RV was perfect and quiet. Another car came to overnight too. There is enough space for 3 without issue.

Report Check-In

Easy drive, as the road is paved and runs through a residential/cottage area until you reach an open space on the left. Made a good stop for 1 night. Woke up to the sound of a bear trying to get into someone's curbside compost bin before heading straight towards my car, so be bear aware.

I ventured a little down the logging road at the end of the pavement (in hopes of finding something further from the cottages) but it was narrow, rough going and I didn't see good spots in the first few kms.

Nice spot near Christina Lake (10min drive), with some fire-rings and space for 3/4 parties if needed. I believe the previous comment is talking about another spot.

Report Check-In

Small private campground, Christina Lake RV campground on the Kettle River.
Jamie and Keith are the host~lovely people.
River area very difficult to enjoy as lots of driftwood over crowding the beach area BUT
Christina Lake is practically right across the street. We have e-bikes so a 7 min. peddle. Biked all around Christina Lake, enjoyed a burger, FF & onion rings at the local and famous Cool Treats (1967) then an afternoon of sunbathing and swimming at the Provincial Campground access to the Lake.
Sunday; easy peddle into Grand Forks via the KVR Kettle Valley Railway Trail.
Delicious breakfast at The Wooden Spoon and off exploring GF.
