Beautiful area. Minimal number of people. I camped at the junction of FR109 and FR081. I came in off Hwy 150 on FR32, but FR081 looks possible as well from Hwy 150. Wild flowers aplenty. Lots of flies some bite. No mosquitoes. Plenty of roads to explore and lakes.
Report Check-InI’m not quite sure what the last person is talking about… There’s literally 50+ spots with very flat areas for tent camping in this area.
Keep taking the main road until you see the sign with the binoculars (after the bathroom/atv area). Go left at binocular sign and take it almost all the way down. Most gorgeous secluded campsite on your left just before the signage/main viewpoint.
Report Check-InNot worthwhile if you are tenting. We couldn’t really tell where to actually pitch our tent. May work if you have a camper to just pull off and sleep.
