There is no way anymore to leave your car here (except if it is small) since the access has been closed and road work done. It is even hard to make a uturn. Not the best spot to leave your car for days. Better in a hôtel in the village down and then hire a taxi to come up or walk (2 hours)

We were a little hesitant with driving here because of the 'then you have to drive in reverse' remark. But honestly, we think it is possible for decent size rigs to. And that is based on the fact that you need to cross a small wooden bridge with a tight turn just before. So if you are long it may need some maneuvering. Other than that, the parking is big enough for any size rig. The only thing is you need to reverse onto the lot. Once on it, we turned again so we have to leave backwards, because the turn is really tight and hardly any space to turn once you left the lot. Updated with new pictures. Super friendly people btw and there is even WiFi and a hot shower. We are driving a 6m+ Ford Transit 2wd.

We let our van there for 4 nights for 20 soles. Now the parking is before the location and closed by a locked gate. Park when you arrive at the first house. The ranger who sells the tickets for Choquequirao has the key to open the parking. We went easily inside in reverse because the turn out was too small to go in normally.

It’s a small parking and they’re doing some construction work but we parked here while hiking with no issues. Paid 20 Soles for three nights, both of us showering upon return and topping up 7L of water.

Arrive early, since there’s not much space. The next morning just before we left somebody arrived late and wanted to park us in, but he was going to take more time than us for the trip so he had to park different.

Turning around is a bit tricky, but manageable with our 5.3m van. Much longer wouldn’t work. Otherwise you’ll need to backup the entire entry road of 8km.

We parked at the beginning of the trail 4 nights, we slept 2 night there and 2 nights in the parking. 20 soles for the 4 nights with access to the bathroom. The parking lot is in an almost flat area. The car is not visible to the cars of the tour that arrive at the place. We saw that they arrive in sprinter or small tour buses. Road in good condition.

I'm not sure there's much space to park here but they do seem to be expanding a bit. I'd suggest parking near town and taking a taxi unless you have a pretty small car.

We parked here during our trek and slept one night parked along the road before starting the trek the next morning. We donated/paid 25soles for the 6days/night parking which included the use of the bathrooms. Probably should have paid less but we did get two bamboo walking sticks for no extra cost (not sure if she normally charges). They are in the process of building new restaurants/hostels out there so the parking is limited to just along the narrow dirt road (anything wider than a Sprinter might block traffic).
