Description

Parking by the "southernmost Mailstation of the world" Nice old Station on a jetty, were you can send mail home (expensive). a little river to tank water. Chemical WC (very clean). Come very late (or very early) so you can get a good spot. During the day its very busy here. Good place for watching the sunrise and sunset over the Beagle Canal. From here you can start, the (in my opinion) best Trekking Trail in the park "Sendero Costero" (3h one way)

Awesome view, stary night, not perfectly flat, but amazing at Night listening the wavy Beagle. we like it! arrived after 8 pm.

An magical spot at night, once all the tourist busses leave.
Great if you come late and leave early, or as we do, simply don't care of people stare at you while enjoying coffee in this beautiful spot

It is nicer to use the campground not quite at the crowded parking lot but just to the right before the end of the road. Try S54.84365, W068.48368. It's easy to miss the entrance. The Sendera Costera is fabulous.

Report Check-In

This is a bumpy parking lot down by the waters edge, we couldn't see a flat spot and there are lots of tourist buses. There are toilets though. There's also a more formal camping spot just up the road, but it's not pretty and there are no facilities except a couple of fire pits (and it's out of the wind at least). We preferred the camping area further into the park by Laguna verde.

Report Check-In

That place is not ideal at all for camper vans and motorhomes. There are only a few parking spots, but very bumpy (4x4 would be best) and not ideal for big rigs. We ended up at the camping spot a few hundred meters up the road. There you can find fire pits and some flat parking spots.

Report Check-In

Wir haben auf dem Parkplatz direkt am Wasser gestanden. Über Nacht ist es sehr ruhig. Am Morgen kommen die Shuttel, die Besucher am Trail absetzen.

Report Check-In

More a parking area than a spot to spend the night. Not really flat
