Lush West Virginia State Park about an hour south of Charleston. The most basic sites they have are $31 a night for a paved slab, fire pit, and electricity. We stayed one night in our sprinter at site #16 and were the only people in the upper loop. Some rigs in the lower lot look to be longterm residents. A bit spendy, but there is also a pool, several playgrounds, and a lodge nearby that you have access to. Campground has potable water, showers, and a dump site. Cell service is decent on ATT. Would recommend if you are looking for a safe place to stay in the area.

This is the best state park! Thank you West Virginia! Campsites are only $33 with electricity and water. Who would’ve thought they have a pool they have a wild refuge, with the Bears, A bobcat, and I think some type of huge warthog. I couldn’t believe a swimming pool and an amazing visitor center
