Camped two nights. It’s is free parking but if you stay past 4-5am you will get charged $35. The attendant said we could park even though we were over 19ft. However, the next day we got a ticket warning for being 23ft.Turns out there is designated over sized vehicle parking that the attendants need to direct you to. Overall, quiet and close to the town. Two bathrooms ( transit center and visitor center ) available with vending machines and water fountains.

Major construction. All access blocked

don't confuse free parking with overnight camping. you must be a registered guest at one of the local lodging spots to park there.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot/turnaround next to the garage parking entrance. The cost during winter (November-April) is $50 for “oversized” vehicles like my Transit 350 HR. It was quiet and easy walking access to the village/lifts. I was a little shocked by the cost but it is Vail.
